Charlotte Steggall

Higher Education Champion and former Translator at Nintendo of Europe

Charlotte grew up on gaming, and spent hours playing Japanese-made games like Bust-A-Groove and Mario Bros. After being randomly selected to represent her school to some visiting students from Tokyo, she had access to free Japanese lessons and even went on a free trip to Japan at 17.

After university, she worked as a Japanese Translator in the localisation team at Nintendo of Europe in Frankfurt. These days, she works with students to show teens that anyone can have a career in something they love – and even provides free Japanese classes in her schools.
